Notice of Public Meetings
March 9, 2011

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), in cooperation with the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) and the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), and the Memphis Metropolitan Planning Organization will conduct a series of public meetings in late March and early April 2011 to discuss the Southern Gateway transportation project.

Six identical meetings across the broad geographical area of the study are being held to provide citizens with the opportunity to learn about and provide input into the early stages of this project. The meetings will include a short video presented every half hour, followed by a brief question and answer period. Time also will be provided for the public to view project materials and provide input on the purpose and need for the project, as well as potential broad corridors where the project may be located. Representatives of each state transportation department will be able to answer questions regarding any aspect of the project.

Full details, including dates, times, and meeting locations, are available here.
